    Millennial reporting for duty

I'll admit that with every generation there is a stereotype...but then again, what's new? I'm a Millennial that just got into the IT industry. I bring value to my organization and I think growing up in the technology era has definitely given me an advantage in this industry. I'm humble and take advice from those who've left their footprints within this field...yet I bring fresh ideas to the table. Millennials epitomize the term Innovation...but I'd like to know, why are we being ostracized for it?

If it's believed that we'll bring about change, then allow that assumption. We may just meet and exceed the expectations that have been circling us. I just find it a bit comical that there's a debate going on regarding millenials...a debate that not only do we have no part of, but a debate that's senseless.

This reply may not be 100% relevant, but I needed to express an opinion... Over and out!

RE: Millennials Don't Want a Revolution

Just like the generation before you. I am GenX, you must fight to be heard. More than anything have something to offer versus a image or an expectation of an offering. GenY, you have your work cut out for you. The boomers are still here, they are strong, they are bright, they have a proven case; GenX has done the same. Your charge is to forge your place not to rest on the laurels of expectation.
