  Here's an idea, how about first the Republicans appoint agency heads who are actually qualified and experienced in the field required instead of simply being politically connected and committed to furthering their political agenda. "Customer Service" starts at the top.

  My husband retired several months ago, and I accompanied him to our local SSA office to apply for benefits and enroll in Medicare.
  
  When he called to make an appointment, he was told what documentation to bring, and he received a confirmation call the day before the appointment. A thoroughly professional caseworker took no more than 20 minutes to process his claim and answer all questions. No hassle whatsoever???wonderful customer service. Bureaucracy at its best.

  Nice response from LEWave as if this administration was the first in appointing incompetent campaign contributors to high place. It is wrong now and it has always been wrong, Dems or Repubs, dump the partisanship.
  
  Govt is extremely ineffective at delivering anything efficiently, cost effectively, or with quality. I would vote for any candidate who could deliver a plan to actually CUT govt spending and improve quality as opposed to arguing who to tax and how much. Now that would be CHANGE we could believe in.

  Government can never ever deliever any service more efficiently than the Market does. Best thing all Americans can ask from the Federal parties is that they stop many of their so called public works and let the Market do its job. Government can't do such job because they have a knowledge problem (The famos Calculation debate in a socialist economy). And above all whatever work Government is doing Market can do that job in much better way and with full justice to all people's taste and preferences. People are under the Illusion of "What is Seen" when they see government working. What they don't see is the UNSEEN i.e., how the resources could have been used by the Individuals if government don't take it away through tax and then spend on different public works. Individuals know much better about their needs and Market can deliever all those goods which Individuals desire.
  
  So STOP relying on Government. No party can do good to you. They only gonna harm you all.
