Is Ronald McDonald Drinking Too Much Caffeine?

New customers
My feeling is that most consumers are not going to drive by Starbucks to get coffee at Micky D's. I think McDonalds will find a whole new market to convert to coffee drinkers. This could possibly help Starbucks in the long run. Think of that consumer who has not given Starbucks a chance and decides to drink a mocha at McDonalds since they are there buying fries. Now that consumer loves the coffee so much the next time they are driving by a Starbucks they may actually stop. Just a thought...

RE: Is Ronald McDonald Drinking Too Much Caffeine?
McDonald's has been doing this in other countries for several years. When I was in Australia in 2000, I saw plenty of McCafes but no Starbucks. I'm surprised it took them this long to try this in the US.
