RE: 4 Ways to Improve Your To-Do Lists
This is nice, but I really need some level of task management solution that borders on project management. I have way too many tasks to get done in a week or day, but do need to track them and get to them eventually. And many "tasks" are part of a bigger project...but the project is big enough or spread over time such that daily tasks need to be tracked to make sure they get done on time.
I live in MS Outlook, but sure wish it had better prioritization, assignment to a given day and ability to easily assign to projects (not just categories).
I've played with Franklin-Covey, but not quite enough value-add to justify the price. I"m waiting for some Web 2.0 saavy company to make this super easy to use, and yet integrated. Ideas? -

RE: 4 Ways to Improve Your To-Do Lists
I use MindManager (it's mind mapping software) by Mindjet. I took the personal organizational example map and modified it to meet my needs. Now I have things separated into "projects" "daily planner" and a "tickler file" sort of how David Allen recommends in getting things done. I've been using this method for 18 months and I'm extremely pleased at the results!! You can download a free 30 day trial from their website...
