RE: Glass Ceiling? Look Out for the Glass Cliff!

Not every woman who has the opportunity to shatter the glass ceiling will. However, the ones who do are confident in their abilities and are able to execute their goals and objectives. They achieve growth, profitability and stability for the company that they lead. They do this under the watchful eye of management (owner) or with the approval of the board of directors and stockholders while targeting objectives the company wants to obtain.

It matters not, if you are male or female??? if you run the ship aground or can???t find your way through a storm, walking the glass cliff is something any leader encounters on a daily basis. Why should it be any different for women? Many women and a few men (myself included)are offended with your implication (or victimization slant) that women "are set up for failure"... The one's who can - do, the others, like their male counterparts, will be replaced... just that simple.

Did Sarah Palin shatter the glass ceiling, or did John McCain shatter it for her?

    I'm just asking.
