    Play Examples

I would be interested to know some examples of "play." What are some activities a company can use to integrate play into the creative process.

    Play at work

I do agree that a playful attitude at work will induce an atmosphere where people will feel free to contribute their best. However, how does one go about creating such an atmosphere in a tradition bound organization? One might start by cultivating such an attitude, but it may not be approved of by others, especially seniors. The best place to start is usually the CEO, but changes at highest level are even more sifficult to achieve. Any practical suggestions?

    Play at work

I believe playing can be a natural expression of who an individual is naturally. Some people are wired to sit quietly at their desks and work without stopping but most are not. Some of the best decisions are made as people interact and laugh. Our work model has been my first example but in fact we may not be accomodating people who could bring much to the table if they were allowed to express themselves more naturally.
I think this would be a paradym shift that might be too hard for some businesses and business owners.
