Having watched both conventions almost in entirety, I agree that the RNC convention was more TV-friendly for the casual observer. However, for political junkies who are more interested in content, I think the Dem's were the clear winners, hands down. Love that Heart sent a cease and desist to the RNC for use of the song Barracuda. Pahlin/Baracuda???give me a break! I'm thinking more of a salmon swimming upstream to spawn.

Hands down, it was the Republicans! They had a positive backdrop and a positive message with pertinent ideas for making REAL changes in our country. The graphics told it all - the Dems had their old boy, old ideas and stodgy backdrop; the Republicans had an action-oriented, moving, changing, dynamic backdrop. I'd say that sums up the differences between the parties, too.
