Over 50
From time to time I question whether finally starting college at 55 was a good idea. My chances may be slim to get work in the degree I am working toward but I am loving school and hope that the hard work I put into school will help me down the road. I love challenges and learning. I feel I can be a great asset to a company even after 60. As long as I stay healthy I will work. As long as I enjoy what I am doing I will work till 80. Why not! I don't fish!

RE: Providing Business Support for the Over 50s
Hello--how old is the person who wrote this? "Spry"?? Over 50? Spry is a word usually applied to active people over, say, 75 or 80.
"People over 50 who still want to work..." Hello? Either you have chosen not to retire (if you have done very well) or you have to keep working (even if you have done moderately well).
I'm 56 and have just begun to hit my stride in my second career. I'm not going anywhere (except up), and I would not be called "spry" by anyone who has ever met me.
