  Wikis vs "Structured" extranet tools

  Great post....I'm working with a lot of organizations trying to establish extranets and many are using wiki-based tools because they're getting a lot of buzz, but our experience is that in many cases wikis are too unstructured for groups that want to manage files, tasks, and team discussions. In these cases tools like basecamp and projectspaces seem to work better. Other tools try to blend wiki's with other extranet tools (file library, discussions, etc).
