  Start with Imaging!

  Start by evaluating imaging! So much unnecessary $ is spent on poor quality imaging. Small doctors offices can Xray and ultrasound with a machine they purchase and then don't use registered, trained technologists! How would you feel knowing your doctors "nurse" was just some person that walked in off the street and the doctor trained himself. Its not really like the show "House" where the doctors perform the exams. I perform MRI, CT and mammography and have the qualifications to prove I know what I am doing for you as a patient! Make you doctor send you to a facility that has these qualified people perfoming your exams, and while your at it, make sure they do your MRI on the best equipment out there! Open magnets have inferior detail, take longer and can't perform many specialized exams because they are too slow! You pay the same and the doctor probably owns the open MRI-they're cheap! Would you rather pay for your exam to be done on a Hugo or a BMW?
