Good
Not bad at all. The bread and drinks trick is a good one however Syndi forgot to mention that the napkin should be placed on the knees from right to left.

Greetings at various events.
I am an American living in Germany. I still am very active in business and social organizations with both, various Europeans, and Americans living abroad.
My interest is in proper greetings in various events as it pertains to sex, age, culture and status.
I have lived in Germany for over 30 years now and have always had a problem with the proper use of the familiar and formal tense in the language.
Now I see that more and more Americans and Europeans are using the cheek kiss as a greeting. I could have lived just fine with handshakes, but I get the impression that people, in some situations see this as offish and maybe a little condescending.
What do you think?

RE: Video: The Etiquette of Business Dining
excellent session by Syndie. Only one thing I missed - how to place your fork &
knife back on your plate - during the meal and when you are finished.
