Entrepreneurs are like diamonds
In my manufacturing environment, probably less than one in a thousand people have any real creative drive.
Where we have tried the laissez-faire approach around 10% see it as a chance to increase department budgets, 5% see it as a "look at me I shine" issue and 85% coouldn't care less and don't participate.
The other side of the coin is the resentment industrial entrepreneurs create amongst their peers, and especially in the hierarchy above them.
As with Belbin team 'plants' the truly creative rapidly get squashed and leave or shut up.
