    Spiceworks does offer support

    Thanks for the writeup!

I'm one of the user interface developers of Spiceworks. I do not speak for the
company, etc. etc. but I wanted to add that we do offer free support.

You mentioned the community-based support. Most if not all of our
developers are active in the community and many of the answers to questions
come straight from our office. We also have some "power user" types that
don't work for us but volunteer to give support.

Beyond that, we also have a few full-time product support guys who answer
emails and take all sorts of support requests. This service is completely free.
Essentially an email to support at spiceworks dot com is all you need.

Hope you enjoy using our software, and feel free to contact us if you have any
    questions. Thanks!

    RE: Spiceworks does offer support

    nertzy,

you said you dont offer free support. are you eluding to a pay for support option. if so i would be interested. i like spice works and i think the community fourm is great. however, before i decide to use spice works ina production enviroment, i need to know their is going to be some one i can turn to when i need help. im sure the community will be able to handle most any problems, however to justify our dependence on spice works, i need to be asured that if a major problem does arise that some one knowledgable will be their to help us...
