  You're right, we never look as nervous / flustered / scared etc as we feel. Try video taping yourself and you will see.
  
  I attended a leadership class where we had to give mock presentations and they were video taped. It took me a week before I got the courage to view it. I thought I did horribly, but I appeared to be confident and commanding. WOW!!
  
  I find that when I get stuck, I take a deep breath and refocus. Keep your hands out of your pockets, make plenty of eye contact and know your stuff. That means PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!!

  Toastmasters and Better Presentations

  I heartily recommend Toastmasters! In every part of this planet, there are other people who care to become better communicators, better leaders, and who are willing to help others in order to receive open support and feedback. It's all voluntary, there are brilliant guidelines and learning project plans. When you are a Toastmaster, you have friends all over the world!
