RE: Back Up Your Phone's SIM Card for $5.55
Would have been really good a few years ago when most of the data was stored in the SIM card in the low end phones, but with Smart Phones having such enormous memories, all of the data, esp if you have more than a thousand contacts are better stored in the phone memory than in the SIM card that carries just about 500-700 contacts. Its still a better idea to constantly back up your phone to your computer, whether wirelessly or through your USB cords. Suggestion, back up at least once a month. I've had my share of heartaches when my phone crashed and i forgot to back it up several months, it was like i lost my family, ask my husband
I'm exaggerating of course. But with the large amount of dependence we put on our phones, it is mandatory to take it upon yourself to back up...you never now when things can happen - you loose it, it gets stolen, you drop it in the ocean ( all of which has happened to me). Sync the phonebook to your yahoo or your gmail too so that the file is in cyberspace and wherever you are you can get a hold of it. It also helps to memorize the numbers of at least the key people in your life - my husband, my bank and my hairdresser oops hairstylist
. Hope these help. Ciao!
