Receive for free, send for fee

drop.io has changed the terms of the service, per my visit there last night. You can still receive faxes for free, but sending faxes requires a premium (paid) dropbox.

Ditto @demhart; is anything really free these days? I guess it's a start, hopefully if there's competition soon, we'll see better offers.
