  Been using it for over a year

  I came across GnuCash over a year ago when I set up my own company and wanted to track my accounts. The software is ideal for a small business providing all the basic functions you need.
  
  Sure the screen refresh can be a bit clunky and it doesn't run on Vista yet (yes, some of us do use Vista) but it does the trick. The hardest part for me was getting the hang of the accounting rather than the software. It is basic, but that's what I like about it.
