the info given here is misleading. i agree that having a high search engine ranking is more important than having a relevant domain name, but having a domain name with keywords in it is highly correlated to the website's search ranking. in otherwords, if you own "doggydaycare.com" you are far more likely to have a high search engine ranking when people search for "doggy day care."

Hey Alex,
In a perfect world, we'd all have the urls we want. But we can't without paying big bucks. So instead of forking over six figures (or more!) for the "perfect" domain name, I'm suggesting you spend your hard-earned capital on other things that are even more important, like marketing your site and constantly updating the content on it.
