  Tell Me This Isn't True

  It's bad enough that we're forced to endure these dreadful, mind-numbing presentations at work. Now one of the most entertaining sites on the web--a place to escape the horrors of the office, not relive them--is about to get polluted with this mental poison. God help us!

  Change the channel

  There's no law that says the presentations have to be public. Indeed, many business users would probably opt to keep them private, in which case you'll never know they're there. Either way, isn't there enough room on YouTube for everyone?

  When Terms Contradict

  YouTube business users? Don't you find that concept bizarrely incongruous? Makes me think of the Monty Python "Rag Week at the Department Store" sketch.
  
  I mean, if it's appropriate to upload dreary old business presentations to a cool site like YouTube, then it's also appropriate, by reductio ad absurdum, to upload them to a raunchy site like YouPorn. But can you imagine anybody actually doing that? The mismatch between content and medium is just too glaringly obvious.
  
  Come to think of it, the YouPorn option might make more sense. After all, I reckon there must be millions of office grunts who would regard business presentations as the most obscene form of pornography.
