  Business Ethics Begins on Your Hard Drive

  Answering ?no and those who do should not be in the C suite? comes with a bitter pill. I was guilty in the past. Some from my own doing and some from my employer who provided me licensed copies of software and told me to not register it. I was young and stupid, so I did it. Over time the activity at my work and other firms became ubiquitous. I finally realized how bad it looked when my son reached the age when he could use the computer as a learning tool and well meaning folks gave me software for that purpose. At first this was ?okay? until I realized the bad example I was setting for him and the folks who provided the software. I erased the software and bought it legally. Have not done it since. I do not do movies or music either.
