Teaching Ethics
The value of ethics, and moral living generally, has to be instilled in the individual from the outset.
If it's not deemed important when growing up, it's easy to dismiss it when grown up, especially in today's relativistic culture where the the main rationale for decision making seems to be that the end justifies the means as long as you don't get caught or can argue that "everybody's doing it."
No (hu)man is an island. If we don't retain a sense of the other in our human relations we're headed for chaos. -

RE: How to Teach Business Ethics, Unethically
My client, Dr. Stephen M. Goldman, Esq., has just published a great, practical guide for how to establish an ethical business environment. He is a businessman, an attorney at Sands Anderson and a professor of corporate law at Catholic University. The book is called Temptations in the Office: Ethical Choices & Legal Obligations. You can find it on Amazon -- it's perfect for every manager.
