Here Comes the IFRS

Like it or not we are in a global economy and if US companies are going to compete overseas (and file taxes and disclose financial data) they are going to have to use IFRS. If the SEC (read also the IRS) does not mandate the switch to IFRS or worse yet does not accept the use of IFRS, then US companies will have to perform their financial functions using BOTH. As a shareholder this is a waste of precious resources.
