Do you believe for success?
I applaud your article. Much of what you write is demonstrably true. There is one element that is widely neglected that is a major contributor to the success of an individual no matter what aspect of life we are talking about.
It is an element we all practise, mostly on an unconscious level. It affects mood, attitude and emotion. It affects our level of effectiveness, both positively or negatively, depending on how well we apply it.
I am talking about the gradient scale. You can't teach quantum physics to someone who can't count, for example. The gradient is too steep. Many failures we experience are because we attempt too steep a gradient.
Success is a step wise endeavour. Try something little, win at it and try something a little larger. That is the way to develop positive beliefs. I have little faith in chants and the like. I have faith in what I achieve and always strive to take the never ending journey to improvement. There is no finite destination, just the journey. It has been said it is who you become on the journey that is important. That is my belief.
I am a company coach and one of my assignments is training sales people.
