Seth does a good entertainment doesn't he? Basic problem seems to be that Seth doesn't actually know many of the "Rules" or at least doesn't undersatnd them all that well. None the less it is always good to challenge any perceived wisdom.

I successfully brought a client management team together for a full day marketing retreat...picking up on a Seth Godin idea (and emailed him to let him know).
We all wore purple sweatshirts with cow icons that said "Be remarkable today."
It was a good and productive day!

in banking the rules have changed - boring is good, and being
remarkable generally means you are on page 1, but of the wrong
chapter ...
