    RE: Corporate Strategy Made Simple

Hallelujah! As a customer experience professional, I'm often in the scenario where "business strategy" overrules customer needs and goals. This strategy is usually poorly thought out, unmeasurable, and porkbarreled to death by executives who don't even like, much less know, their customers.

I hope every marketer takes the time to view this video.

    RE: Corporate Strategy Made Simple

Your three points could be rephrased as:
    1. Pick a strategy.
    2. Execute it.
    3. Adjust it as necessary.
The right set of tools can play a role in linking strategy with execution, which is the real key to success. Take sales execution, for example. In B2B companies, it???s all about the pipeline. How do you keep it moving? How do you minimize time wasted on deals that won???t close? Pipeline Accelerator http://tinyurl.com/6kr3h8 from Cloud9 Analytics is a great example of a solution that???s easily within reach for the average business person.

At a high level, it links strategy to execution by giving all levels of management the same access to key ever-changing operational data, metrics, cascading goals, and a real-time monitoring system that will alert them to ???off-track??? situations.

At a practical level it provides a simple strategy: identify what???s changed. Then the sales team can prioritize efforts and optimize resources by focusing on the items that have changed.
