Presentation Checklist
Having a very clear understanding of the prospect's expectations and objectives for the presentation is very important. In some situations it makes sense to contact key participants in advance of the presentation (if you can) to make sure you understand precisely what they are looking for from the event. "Meeting" someone on the phone prior to the event also helps to have a smoother start to the presentation.
In addition, I always like to test my presentation with a coach or sponsor in advance of the presentation. That will help uncover any wrong assumptions or conclusions on my part. It also helps in figuring out who might potentially have issues of objections, so you aren't surprised. Finally, trusting a coach in that way helps build that relationship. -

Excellent suggestions!
Thanks for helping. Running the presentation by your mentor or coach is a particular fabulous idea!
