  Dream Job

  My job selling software to Law Enforcement isn't the most exciting job. However, I am fortunate to have a boss that I trust, and who trusts me in return. The absolute best thing about my job, is I can live anywhere I want, as long as I continue to sell. I moved from Denver - where the business is located, and moved to a small town in Idaho. I work from a home office. I bought a small parcel of land, raise cattle and sheep, have a horse, goats and dogs. My nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile away.
  
  Being here has helped me to focus on my job. Revenues have doubled since my move, my paycheck is getting fatter and will continue to do so since I get residual revenue from my past sales. This job allows me to do something I always wanted to do, live in the country.
  
  Law enforcement is an interesting niche market as well. When I make cold calls, invariably one will call me back! They always pay - sometimes a bit late, but they pay. I am in a niche market with very few competitors in the functionality that we offer. My company treats customers very well, and in return, we get a lot of referrals. My boss treats me well, pays me fairly, on time and with no drama. My customers are always happy to hear from me and share success stories. When I go to trade shows people go out of their way to stop by and have a nice long chat. The majority of my sales are done on the phone with virtual meetings and demonstrations. In the past, I was a bit of a job hopper, one new job every two years, one bad company after the other. I don't think I will ever want to look for another job. So, I'd say this is a dream job for me - good pay, great boss, wonderful customers, enthusiastic co-workers, and I live where I want to!

  My Dream sales job is to have a rewarding sales career in which sales targets are stretcble and with putting extra efforts one can achieve it.There is no over pressure or threat of expulsion or sacking.Targets which are given or taken is with mutual consent.
