    M2M Sales Strategy

Being a B2B sales company, we have been implementing the strategy of M2M sales for a long time and the strategies written here really hits the hammer to the nail. There is two major steps to the M2M sales, the first step being able to show the customer why your company has the ability to perform the tasks that are required by the project, the second area is to build trust for the salesmen so that the customer knows that their is someone overseeing the project that they can trust. This is especially key in our government markets where you see customers more scared of someone messing up then actually doing the project right. They just want to make sure that they will not be blamed for any project mishaps and this is where the trust within the sales person is key in closing the sale. The first area of finding a company that has the capabilities for the project covers the competion area where decisiion makers want to make sure that they are picking the most competitive company.

A question from an apparently acronym-challenged person - what is M2M?

    Thanks,

    Dear Geoffrey,
This is a great thread for me, I am using all the advises you are giving, based on my 10+ years experience I totally agree with it all.

I am CEO of a new pakistani based compnay, our product is a CRM like software and our second customer is local Pakistani ISP. I am calling her CEO and National sales manager. And making my next meeting material based on your suggestions.
Thanks for being at the right place and the right time.
