panel interview
good article and great advice. I just recently experienced a panel interview. Fortunately I knew that it would be a 3 person panel so I was not surprised. I did a lot of pre-interview preparation and was sure I knew my subject matter as well as I could. I did research the department and was familiar with what they were involved in and area of responsibilities. The members had about 5 questions each that were prepared and each candidate would be asked the same questions. The members all wrote what I said and that was a bit intimidating. It was like dictation and I felt the need to slow down my speech to accomodate their writing. In one respect that was good it helped my nerves. Well to make it short, I felt good about the interview and was called back for a second interview.. now just waiting to hear the results. So I agree Prepare Prepare Prepare.
