  So if I understood well -while delegation the responsibility is still mine. What about coaching, which is considered according model of situational leadership one level lower - I had a feeling that there is responsibility with that one who is coached...?

  Delegation of authority in finance industry

  Delegation of authority in the financial sector is of out most importance to the success of the organization. The banks, lease companies and mutual funds, earn their profits by designing and selling active or risk taking products. When we combine risk exposure of the organization with the complex organizational structure, which is usually some kind of matrix, i.e. combination of functional or market driven structure, with geographical presence, we get a complicated situation.Therefor, SOP are needed so that there is a certain flow of documents and a proper decision making process introduce. However, this could not be functional without a proper delegation of authority and responsibility to both:branch managers as well as professional in the risk management department.
