Question-and-Answer Session
Operator
(Operator Instructions) And we have a question from the line of Larry Calfskin with Jefferies. Please go ahead.
Larry Calfskin - Jefferies & Company
Hey, guys. It looks like the old team is back together. Sorry guys. A couple questions. One, capital interests for the quarter?
Robert F. Griffin
Two hundred thousand.
Larry Calfskin - Jefferies & Company
All right. As far as the bridge reopening after the quarter in Biloxi, what kind of affect have you guys seen from that.
Robert F. Griffin
We’ve actually seen an increase in November. As I said earlier, our coin-in has gone up roughly $1.0 million per week since it’s opened and, Larry, typically in November, we start to see a decrease of about the same amount. So our volumes are going up as far as coin-in. Patron counts have gone up as well. The number of cars for valet parking are going up compared to the prior year or I should say prior year if you look at November of last year when it typically goes down. Table drop as well. We’re also spending some money to reactivate a number of our customers from Jackson County to the east of us that it was very difficult for them to get to us. And we’re seeing some improvements in those numbers as well since the bridge has opened. But it’s still early. We’ve only got one month behind us with only two lanes of the bridge.
Virginia McDowell
Larry, the bridge is a piece of it, but we still look at Biloxi as a timing issue. We do face competitive challenges in the short term even with the bridge opened with our existing facility. But we do see the opportunity to improve results there through a more focused effort on the introduction of the same cost containment programs that have been successful at our other properties. And we do believe that the facility that we are currently master planning will be competitive in the emerging Biloxi market place.
Larry Calfskin - Jefferies & Company
So you’re still going ahead with the planning o that. You’ve just kind of put a stop and reexamined what exactly what you’re going to put in there.
Virginia McDowell
Absolutely.
Larry Calfskin - Jefferies & Company
Okay. That’s good. As far as--could you say, I mean, since you’ve come, Virginia, how many people have followed you from the places you used to work? Can you give us some feeling of the kind of increased personnel that has come from other quality places?
