Question-and-Answer Session

Operator

(Operator Instructions) Your first question comes from Mike Crawford - B. Riley & Co.

Mike Crawford - B. Riley & Co.

Scott, you mentioned, well two things. One you mentioned you walked away from some DRAM business that would have been maybe a negative gross margin. Also at the same time, it’s long been known that one of the strengths of ISSI’s business is its ability to provide a long term solution for companies seeking DRAMs and SRAMs for a long time. So how do you marry those two competing forces against each other?

Scott Howarth

Good question. So some of the orders we had to walk away from are really more in what I consider kind of the Tier 2, Tier 3 customer, closer into the spot market. As we mentioned for some of our strategic customers we did continue to support them.

In this situation, sometimes we don’t support them to the full extent, but we continue to provide support so that they know that they can get product from us, not just this quarter but into the future as well. So we really try to balance it and then have moved toward focusing on our strategic customers and less focus on the Tier 2, Tier 3, which are more price sensitive customers.

Mike Crawford - B. Riley & Co.

Okay, thank you and then also you mentioned one 4 meg async, SRAM that was generating some design wins. Are you able to break out your SRAM business in any color as what’s most important to you?

Scott Howarth

When you say break it out, between sync, asynch, etc.?

Mike Crawford - B. Riley & Co.

Yes.

Scott Howarth

We don’t provide that level of detail into our revenue breakdown. What we do is at least just give a total; you can see where our total SRAM revenue is inside of the market, but breaking it down any further I think would be additional details that would be a challenge from a competitive standpoint.

Mike Crawford - B. Riley & Co.

Okay, in that regard, I don’t know if you can answer this either, but I’m just going to give it a shot. Is there any new SRAM product that you’ve recently released to sample or production volume?

Scott Howarth

Yes, we have been working on samples for a 72 meg, what we call quad data rate, synchronous SRAM. We’re working on different speeds for that particular device and we have been sampling it with some of our key networking customers. That is one of the significant growth products or significant growth areas that we see inside of the SRAM market.
