Question-and-Answer Session

Operator

(Operator Instructions) And your first question comes from the line of Debjit Chattopadhyay from Boenning & Scattergood. Please proceed, sir.

Debjit Chattopadhyay - Boenning & Scattergood

Good afternoon, gentlemen.

Douglas Swirsky

Hello.

Paul Fischer

Hi, Debjit.

Debjit Chattopadhyay - Boenning & Scattergood

First question is regarding the FMD program. I was wondering if you really need to test against all the seven serotypes before you could potentially go for a registration

Douglas Swirsky

Well, as you know this is a collaboration with the Department of Homeland Security, so we won't get too much into which serotypes we're working in, other than to say that the program is making progress. They have renewed it. It's been expanded and we are on track to fulfill objectives of the contract. But, I don't have much more details to provide for you in terms of which serotypes and how we would proceed. Clearly, you wouldn't need to have developed something against every serotype and every subtype in order to pursue your commercializing that product.

Debjit Chattopadhyay - Boenning & Scattergood

But your timeline of roughly 20 months to 30 months is still on track. Could we see a product before that?

Douglas Swirsky

Well, we are on track to execute the agreement as it's constructed, which is again a three-year program and we don't really have an update to the timeline, other than we think it's on track and I think our collaborator thinks it's on track, because they did renew and expanded this quarter. So, I think we are making good progress and the timelines we've previously set out for the program, I think that we will keep that guidance intact and not make a change.

Debjit Chattopadhyay - Boenning & Scattergood

Assuming that you take a second look at the PACT trial by the end of '08, but say within the next one year could somebody potentially see a partnership on the FMD program ex-US.

Douglas Swirsky

I am sorry. We are talking about PACT and then we shifted to FMD. Could you just reiterate the question Debjit?

Debjit Chattopadhyay - Boenning & Scattergood

Well, I think the next big milestone, obviously is the PACT trial, second look at the PACT trial. But in the interim period, in the one year could you potentially partner the FMD program ex-US?

Douglas Swirsky

There are a lot of potential activities that can happen in all of our programs between now and the time we look at data again. I don't want to provide any particular timeline for when a partnership could happen with any of our programs or we can talk a little bit about what additional data could from the various other indications we are looking at. But, in terms of partnerships, we have discussions ongoing. Things are in various stages of development. We are not going to provide any guidance on when something could happen. Clearly, ex-US that is something we are going to pursue most likely with the partner.
