Question-and-Answer Session

Operator

Thank you. (Operator Instructions). Our first question comes from the line of George Staphos, of Bank of America. Please go ahead.

George Staphos - Bank of America

Thanks everyone, good morning. A couple of questions here to start, John or Mark maybe to begin realizing this is very difficult environment within which to make projections. If you hold your early July volume trend constant should we expect that residual pricing strength and the accelerated pick you are seeing from your cost reductions and productivity improvement initiatives can more than offsetting any negatives enhance we should expect at least flat result in the third quarter versus second quarter, or is it too difficult to even make that projection this juncture?

John Luke, Jr.

Yeah, I will ask mark to comment in a moment, and I appreciate the question. Again, I think we are seeing stabilization, we are seeing good benefit from the initiatives we have under way, and we are seeing stabilization and pricing along with the strong determination we have to hold pricing or where we can improve pricing through select participation in our markets.

It would certainly be our expectation as we move into all things being equal and what should be a seasonally stronger period of the year to not only see things being flat but hopefully improve. But again I think as Mark indicated, there are a variety of uncertain and potentially dark clouds out there that would make it difficult for us to make any a sound prediction as to what's going to be coming down the pipe. Mark

Mark Rajkowski

Yeah John, I think that's right. If you want to take some of the assumptions George that you have relative to that type of very stable volume pattern. I think that the response to your question is yes, we would expect that.

George Staphos - Bank of America

Okay. Mark maybe related question and for Jim as well, it seems you've already -- it would appear if I may know it correctly hit your targets in terms of plan consolidations. Is there perhaps more opportunities than to take out more conversion capacity in next year or two. And is that built into your existing plans?

James Buzzard

George, this is Jim. I think here, we have hit the targets, but as we noted this morning, we move beyond those as we announced the closure of the number two machine Evadale and the restructuring that will happen there. I think in the current environment, this is something we will continue to focus on. And as we have focused our attention on the markets we want to participate in, the geographies, its going to be a constant thing we look at. And we'll just take as it comes along.
