Software maker Corel shifts ownership structure

Computer software company Corel is turning over full ownership to limited partnership Corel Holdings, which is controlled by majority investor Vector Capital. Corel Holdings, which already owns 68% of Corel, is purchasing all outstanding common shares of the company, in cash, priced at USD4 each.

Corel produces software such as WordPerfect, CorelDRAW, WinZip, Paint Shop Pro and WinDVD.
