It could take years for Intel to gauge the success of its partnership with Nokia, which is aimed at developing new types of mobile computing devices, according to Intel’s former CEO and chairman Craig Barrett. ?We will have to wait a few years to see if the deal is successful,? he told a news conference in Helsinki.

The companies are set to work together in what could be a landmark deal for Intel, which has previously failed to break into the mobile market. However, neither company will say what kind of mobile projects they are hoping to develop together, or when they will be available.
