Microsoft hires ad firm for secret mobile project

Microsoft has reportedly hired ad agency McCann Erickson to work on a campaign for its top-secret mobile project codenamed ?Pink?. The firm is thought to be planning a Microsoft-branded mobile developed by the software giant’s recent acquisition, Danger. The phone will run an extra layer of software on top of its basic operating system and will include additional services, according to ZDNet.

McCann Erickson is the agency charged with promoting Microsoft’s mobile operating system, Windows Mobile.
