Sense Networks has raised USD6m to track online clusters of people to better serve them targeted ads. Intel has reportedly led the round, beating Sequoia Capital. However, the companies have yet to confirm the details.

Sense Networks has developed a technology capable of real-time tracking groups of people with common interests and characteristics. The company retrieves this data from existing social media services such as mobile social networks, analyses it and then serves targeted ads.
