iTunes will begin offering downloads of classic Premier League football matches following a deal between Apple, the Premier League Archive and IMG Sports Media.
The content consists of 30-minute extended highlights from five seasons between 2002 and 2007, along with hour-long ?Goal of the Season? and ?Review of the Season? compilations. The downloads will cost GBP1.49 (USD2.27) per episode and GBP9.99 (USD15.21) for an entire season.
However, more recent content will not be available and football fans will have to wait two years to see matches from the current season.
The Premier League recently agreed to let the BBC show limited match highlights in a three-year deal beginning next autumn.
