Sony is working with chipset producer NVidia to enable developers to produce more lifelike games for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) console. The agreement will allow Sony to distribute NVidia’s PhysX software development kit for free to registered PS3 users. The kits will be available through Sony’s developer network.

The PhysX development kit gives developers more control over character and object interactions, enhancing the realism of game environments.
