Software giant SAP is acquiring CogHead following its collapse. CogHead, which provides a web-based software editing service, will cease operating and most of its staff will join SAP.
SAP is buying CogHead’s intellectual assets and will not take on the firm’s customers. Rival software editing services Caspio, TrackVia and Intuit are courting the defunct company’s former subscribers.
German firm SAP formerly held a stake in CogHead through its investment arm SAP Ventures.
