Apple is bringing HD content to its UK iTunes store, but the selection remains limited. The only content currently available in HD is ABC’s TV series Lost. It costs GPB2.49 (USD3.55) an episode, while in the US the same video costs USD2.99.
UK consumers are voicing complaints about the shortage of HD content and protesting that prices are higher than in the US.
