Disney is teaming up with computer developer Asus to bring out a netbook aimed at six to 12-year-olds. "Netpal", which will launch in late July, will sell at Toys "R" Us and Amazon for USD350. It includes a Radio Disney widget that streams music from the channel, a photo application, digital memo pad, calculator and stopwatch.

The netbook also has Wi-Fi, features an 8.9-inch screen and runs Windows XP with a child-friendly interface. The netbooks can be bought in ?Princess Pink? – with florals – or ?Magic Blue?, with Mickey Mouse icons.

Back in 2004 Disney released the Disney Dream Desk PC with a monitor in the shape of Mickey’s head and Mickey Mouse ears on the mouse.
