Shamrock Holdings, the investment arm of Disney, is in talks with Motorola about buying Israeli mobile operator MIRS.
However, neither Shamrock nor Motorola is commenting on the rumour. Israel's Globes business newspaper reported that Motorola has hired Merrill Lynch to value MIRS, and is hoping to sell the company for USD300m.
