Adobe Systems plans to bring its Flash graphics platform to home TV sets by the end of the year and says it has persuaded a number of electronics manufacturers to include support for its Flash software in new digital TVs and other devices.
Technology partners for the project include Broadcom, Intel, NXP Semiconductors, Sigma Designs and STMicroelectronics. The company has also made arrangements with content providers such asThe New York Times and Disney.
