SocialVibe has raised USD8m in a second funding round led by JAFCO Ventures. Existing investor Redpoint Ventures also participated to the round.The company lets users support charitable causes by offering brand sponsorship from companies such as Coca-Cola.
Users post a sponsored badge to their website or social networks such as Facebook and MySpace, and brands redistribute money to the cause according to the number of views.The company plans to use the funding to develop its ad services.
