Michael Eisner's Tornante Company is spinning off digital studio Vuguru after receiving an undisclosed sum from Canadian telecoms firm Rogers Communications. The investment will help the studio increase the amount of content it produces per year. Since its inception in 2006 the company has produced one fairly successful TV series, Prom Queen. Vuguru is hoping to produce 12 series next year and then 30 a year after that.
