Mobile browser company Opera is expanding its foothold in the US through a partnership with an unnamed US mobile operator and is building a customised version of its mobile browser, Opera Mini, for the new ally.
Analysts believe Opera’s partner may be either Verizon Wireless or AT&T. Under the new deal, the operator will ship phones with Opera Mini pre-installed. The company has a similar agreement with Sprint, which released the Samsung Instinct S30 with Opera.
