Canada-based CoolIT Systems is paying an undisclosed sum to acquire the liquid cooling assets of Delphi Corporation. The assets include intellectual property, machinery and equipment. CoolIT develops liquid-cooling systems for computers and claims its technology is more energy efficient than comparable air-cooling systems. As part of the deal, the firm will serve clients including Dell and Apple.

In March, CoolIT raised USD5m in a Series A funding round led by iNovia Capital.
