Adknowledge buys Miva media division for USD11.6m

Ad network Adknowledge is acquiring the media division of performance ad network Miva for USD11.6m. Adknowledge will now own Miva.com, Findwhat.com and the Espotting brand. Some 75 Miva employees will transfer to Adkowledge.

Adknowledge, founded in 2003, is funded by Technology Crossover Ventures. The company has recently made a series of acquisitions, including social networks analytics firm Adonomics, ad platform Cubics and Lookery’s ad network.
